3rd Birthday

We are quickly approaching Makena's third birthday. This is one sad mommy!

I love you Makena - So Much!!

Fun with Gampy

My grandfather is visiting this week from Buffalo and we have spent a few days with him. We went to the Dallas World Aquarium with my grandpa, my dad and Marcella. On Tuesday we went to The Nature and Science Museum and saw the bodyworlds exhibit. It was really cool, I don't recommend taking a toddler though, she didn't find it nearly as interesting as we did.

Makena has been excellent the last couple of weeks. Really sweet and funny. She has had her bad moments, but they are very few and far between.

Ballet and Six Flags

Makena has started "ballet" and the first day didn't go over so well. She wasn't comfortable the first Saturday, but by last Saturday she was loving it. They obviously are not really learning ballet, more like body awareness. She skips, leaps, hops and has learned the basic first position and second position.

After dance on Saturday, we took her to Six Flags for Justin's company party. We had a lot of fun and Makena even braved some of the rides. The two scariest rides for her AND for me where the Sombrero and the Mini Mine Train.
