She's w-a-l-k...almost!
Tubes has made the world of a difference in her balance. So far she is doing well with them...after her procedure, Dr. Rohn came out and told us the infections were still there and that she would continue to have some drainage from both ears. Anyone whos child hasn't had this procedure done before...let me tell you, I was only separated from my baby girl for 20 min MAX! She was taken back at 6:48am and Dr. Rohn came out to discuss the procedure at 6:57am. When she woke up, the nurse in recovery came to get us. I walked back and she was drinking a bottle of COLD juice. She hates anything cold! I guess she was starving. She was a bit whiny and cranky...got her home and she had a nap and was to her old self by 10am. She had moments throughout the day where she would be a bit on the cranky side, but all in all she was really good!
She has certainly gained better balance since Friday. She takes up to 6 or 7 steps...usually its just 2-3 before she plops on her tushie. Sometimes she gets so excited that her body gets ahead of her legs. It is very sweet to watch. I bet she will be walking in a matter of days.
Well, not much else going on in our world. Faith is back today...YA!! We really do miss Faith when she is gone.
