Smiling and Babbling and Walking...OH MY!

Makena has been extremely happy lately! She shrieks at almost anything and just looking at her makes her smile so big! She is getting to be a big girl. I can't believe we are just shy of 2-1/2 months to her first birthday. I am so depressed...I don't want my baby girl to grow up. It seems that she wants nothing to do with crawling anymore...she has within a day learned how to get up on her own unsupported and prefers to walk instead. She is looking less and less like Frankenstein each day and more and more like a little person walking about like she owns the place (eh, who are we kidding, she owns the place). She went to the ENT on Friday, she has still an ear infection in her left ear, which means the tube he placed in there is blocked still. She is on another set of ear drops to clear it up. SOON I HOPE! As of right now, she is not hearing properly out of her left ear...doesn't mean she has hearing loss necessarily. We will know for sure in about 6 months. Other than that, nothing more to report. Here are the pictures of her 9th month.

What adorable pictures...absolutely precious. Walking is such a fun time, too. So cute to watch them waddle around.

O my gosh those pictures are precious!!!! I can't believe we've never met and I feel like I know your family so well. I remember when Ali learned to walk, she only crawled briefly and then when she could walk she took off!!! It seems like the milestone of walking really makes you realize that they are "little people". I guess its when you turn around and they are standing there looking at you like, "come on mom lets go". I am so sorry to hear about the ENT visit. I have never heard of the ear infections that Faith & Makena have. Ali has had 2 and I thought I was going to die. I will count my blessings! May God continue to bless the girls and send them a miracle ear fix!!!

Ugh! Tell me about it. I am just glad that when the girls do have ear infections, they are getting tons of TLC. When I worked at Lighthouse, I always felt so bad for the babies who were sick and the parents either didn't care or had no choice but to bring their babies their.
